Jointly organised by Aurélie Adler, Julien Piat and Véronique Montémont, the conference ‘Annie Ernaux : les écritures à l’œuvre’ (‘Annie Ernaux: writing at work’) took place at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne, on 16-17 March 2017. The contributions to the programme shed light on the formal experimentation and plurality of Ernaux’s writing, taking into account not only her published literary texts, but also interviews and media interventions.
