The international conference ‘Annie Ernaux: approches critiques et interdisciplinaires’/ ‘Annie Ernaux: critical and interdisciplinary perspectives’ took place at York University (Toronto)  during spring 2008, a few months after the publication of Les Années (PDF programme). The volume deriving from the conference (Annie Ernaux: Perspectives critiques, Legas, 2009, Sergio Villani, ed.) reflects the significance of this text, and offers a variety of approaches where literature and photography intersect.
